The Turkish Ministry of National Defense has announced the intended timeline for progressing the order for 40 new F-16 Vipers as well as 79 upgrade kits for older aircraft.

In other words, the cost may include upgrading Turkish production lines so that they manufacture the latest version of the F-16.
