Video: Autistic child slapped for touching his car

Footage shows the moment a Mercedes S-Class driver slaps an autistic boy for bending the star on the bonnet. The (for now) unidentified driver is seen slapping 10-year-old Alfredo Morales seconds after inspecting the damage.

Regardless, the car was purchased a year ago from a dealership in Southern California for about $150,000. In the footage, the boy’s Spanish-speaking sister tells the driver, “I’m sorry, [ο αδελφός μου] “He’s autistic,” he said, then slapped the boy and walked away. The boy’s family has filed a police report. The middle-aged man seen in the footage has not yet been formally identified, and he could be charged with battery on a minor, which can be treated as a misdemeanor or a felony. If convicted, he could face up to six years in prison.
