Voula Gehakia is SYRIZA's new press representative

Voula Kehagia announced SYRIZA's new press representative, Stephanos Kassalakis, via video on social media.

In particular, the leader of SYRIZA wrote that “in the new cycle that SYRIZA will start, Theodora Avgeri and Voula Gehakia will be at the forefront of our struggle.”

He pointed out that Dora Avkeri represented SYRIZA during a difficult period for our party. He will continue to represent me in the community he started as my social media consultant. Voula Gehakia begins a new chapter by accepting the position of Press Representative and I wish her success in the difficult task ahead. A new, unified, social Syriza is changing on the fly, expanding and embracing the entire progressive world.”

Voula Gehakia has been involved in political reporting since 2003 when she took over coverage of left and center-left parties for the TA NEA newspaper. Since 2009, he has been covering government reports regularly. He has worked as a political report editor at ERT, while since 2003 he has been a correspondent for ERT 3 on PASOK issues in Athens.

Previously, he worked at ERT3 and TA NEA newspaper in Thessaloniki, while he also worked as an editor at “Aggeliophoros” newspaper for three years. He also worked as a reporter for Mega Channel. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Thessaloniki and at a private press center. He knows English and Italian.
