Weather: Kolitas warning for heavy rain – What’s to come from Saturday

The weather scenario will turn upside down in the coming days as the end of August will bring rain and heavy thunderstorms.

With his new position, the director of the National Meteorological Service, Thodoris Kolitas, warns of the arrival of rain and storms in the middle of the week, insisting that weather instability will last until Saturday, August 31. In fact, according to Mr. Kolitas’ forecast, rainfall levels are expected locally till Thursday. 50 to 70 mm of water.

His post details:

“Localized rain is welcome in the west and north today with maximums of 10 to 15mm. However, by Thursday, “buckets” will slowly collect locally around 50 to 70mm of rain. Unsettled conditions will continue into Saturday.”

Forecast for Tuesday 27-08-2024

Generally clear weather. In the afternoon and afternoon, temporary clouds will form in the continental and Ionian regions and there will be local showers and isolated storms, mainly in the highlands and Thrace.
