Weather: New EMY emergency report on heatwave – 43 seconds until when and where it fires

The EMY Emergency Bulletin for the heatwave has been updated again, with extreme temperatures to plague us at least until Sunday.

According to EMY, very high temperature (maximum values ​​above 40 degree Celsius) will be maintained in our country till Sunday (21-7-2024).

Temperatures are expected to drop slightly from next week

From the beginning of next week, there will be a slight decrease in temperature in most parts of the country with its maximum and minimum values ​​and only inland, in the central and southern continents.

It is stated that:

A. The maximum temperature value in the coastal areas of the continent is 2 to 4 degrees lower than its interior temperature.
B. Minimum temperatures will also be maintained at high levels, ranging from 29 to 30 degrees Celsius over most urban areas.

1. On Thursday (18-7-2024) the maximum temperature is expected to reach:
A. 41 to 42 in the interior and 43 degrees Celsius in the west, central and north of the interior.
B. Ionian Islands, East Aegean Islands, Dodecanese and Southern Crete, 38 to 40°C.
c. 35 to 37 degrees Celsius in the rest of their island country.
39 to 40 degrees Celsius in the province of Attica and Thessaloniki.

2. Friday (19-7-2024) maximum temperature predicted to reach:

A. North continental areas will be between 38 and 39 degrees Celsius and other continental areas will be between 40 and 42 degrees Celsius.
B. Ionian Islands, East Aegean Islands, Dodecanese and Southern Crete, 37 to 40°C.
c. 35 to 37 degrees Celsius in the rest of their island country.
38 to 39 degrees Celsius in the province of Attica and Thessaloniki.
Isolated storms will develop after midday on Friday and mainly during the afternoon in the North Country.

3. From noon on Saturday (20-7-2024), isolated storms will occur over North Country and temperatures are expected to reach:

A. 37 to 39 degrees Celsius in northern continental areas and 40 in other continental areas and 41 degrees Celsius in inland western continental areas.
B. Ionian Islands, East Aegean Islands, Dodecanese and Southern Crete, 38 to 40°C.
c. 34 to 36 degrees Celsius in the rest of their island country.
Attica 39 and 40 degrees and Thessaloniki province 38 to 39 degrees Celsius.

4. On Sunday (21-7-2024) the maximum temperature will be 37 to 39 degrees Celsius over continental areas and 40 to 41 degree Celsius over central and southern parts.
