According to the updated emergency weather report, snow will fall in Styria, Evia, Peloponnese and Crete tomorrow, Monday (21.01.24).
As mentioned in the updated emergency weather report issued by Dotoris Kolitas, there will be light snowfall in Styria, Evia, Peloponnese and the mountains of Crete, which will gradually be limited to the mountains of Crete from noon.
Throughout Sunday (21.01.24), gale force winds of up to 9 Beaufort will continue, snow and cold, while heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected overnight.
In more detail, the snowfall will continue:
a) Today Sunday (21-01-24) in the mountainous and semi-mountainous areas of Thessaly and Central Greece, in the mountains of Peloponnese and Evia and in the mountains of Crete, from the afternoon, generally ill. The snow in northern Greece will stop soon.
b) On Monday (22-01-24) there will be light snow in the mountains of Styria, Evia, Peloponnese and Crete, which will be limited to the mountains of Crete gradually from noon.
Temperatures in the southern parts of the country will drop further (up to 6-8 degrees Celsius), while the northern and central parts, which have already dropped significantly, will maintain locally low levels. Heavy frost Sunday morning and Monday evening.
-Stormy north northeast winds of 8 and locally 9 beaufort will blow across the Aegean today Sunday, gradually weakening to 8 beaufort from midday on Monday, initially in the north and in the Aegean from the evenings.
Heavy rain and storms will occur in the eastern Aegean islands today until Sunday afternoon, and in Crete and the Dodecanese overnight.
