When will the May pensions, OPEC benefits and Easter gift be paid?

In less than a month, pensions, OPEC benefits and an Easter gift will be paid to workers and the unemployed.

In less than a month from today, employees are expected to be paid the Easter Gift, DYPA Easter Gift, May Pension and OPCA benefits.

Benefits of OPCA

OPEC interest payments are expected on Tuesday, April 30. However, as happens every time, these funds will be available for withdrawal from ATMs across the country from the afternoon of the previous day.

Specifically, the following allowances will be paid:

May pensions

May pensions are expected to be paid in the final days before Easter. Although it is not yet known when it will be disbursed, it is certain that by April 28 the allocation will have been completed in the beneficiaries’ accounts.

Easter gift for employees

Employees – whether full-time or part-time – regardless of whether they are on a fixed or permanent contract, are expected to receive their Easter gift by Holy Wednesday. Employers can pay the allowance early. The Easter holiday allowance is equivalent to half the monthly salary or 15 days' wages if the employee is paid by the day.

Regarding the calculation of the Easter gift, according to the Information Center for Employees and Unemployed (KEPEA), it is given in full, if the employment relationship continues from January 1 to April 30, 2024. Then the employee is entitled to receive half of the monthly salary if he receives with salary and 15 days’ wages. If he is paid with daily wages.

Easter gift from DYPA

Along with unemployment benefits and much earlier than employees, the unemployed will receive a 2024 Easter gift from DYPA.

The Easter gift to the unemployed will be paid by DYPA in advance. DYPA is expected to pay an Easter gift to thousands of unemployed people in the week before Holy Week, while benefits and special maternity protection will also be prepaid.

In particular, during the week from April 22 to 26, the 2024 Easter Gift, Regular Unemployment Benefits, Long-Term Unemployment Benefits and Unemployment Benefits are expected to be paid to the self-employed, freelancers and recipients of the Special Maternity Benefit. Protection benefits will be paid in advance.

Prepayment will be completed automatically, through direct deposit into the beneficiaries' bank accounts.

For the unemployed, the Easter gift is equivalent to half the monthly amount of unemployment benefit, while it is only given in full when those supported have been supported throughout the period from January 1 to April 30.
