Which favorite series got a break from ‘The Slash’ – video

Series success can never be. Television networks and streaming platforms are taking risks with some controversial products and when they “come out” viewers enjoy something new that captivates them. But when a risk doesn’t pay off in the end, a chain is “cut”.

One of the most beloved Netflix series both in Greece and in the whole world is a break from “Its Cut”. Essentially, Netflix “saved” the series and was rewarded with the above.

Reason for “La Casa de Papel” or “The Perfect Robbery”. The beloved series before it was acquired by Netflix, it belonged to a Spanish TV channel and tried to set itself apart from the rest of the TV series at the time. Atresmedia’s Antena 3 gave the “green light” to an 18-episode season, but the numbers were not satisfactory. In fact, the cast was informed by an executive that the series was removed from the channel’s schedule while they were filming.

This revelation was made by the actor of the series, Enricue Arce, who personified Arturo Román or “Arturito”. The actor, who stars in “Murder Mystery 2” alongside Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler, spoke to Collider about his experience on the set of the Netflix movie and revealed this untold story of “La Casa De Papel.”

It was a failure story. We had a guy who came in and said, ‘You have to star together because we’re not going to do 18 episodes, we’re going to do 15. Guys, that’s it, we’re done.’ Your numbers are ridiculous and we’re putting you off the air.” We were going to do 18 episodes, but it ended up being 15 because an “executive” came in and said, “I believe in the series, but your numbers are too low and you’re done.” Enrico Arce said, “Nobody knows this.” The story, you are the first to know it.”

It was going to be 18 episodes, which we’re backing, and we ended up with 15 because one of the “executives” came up to us, and said, “I believe in the show, but your numbers are so low, and you guys are out.” No one knows this, you. The first to know.

‘La Casa De Papel’ is still one of the best non-English language Netflix series. It ranks second all-time, behind only Squid.
