Academy Award-winning actor Willem Dafoe had a particularly enjoyable and emotional evening during his visit to Greece, having not only laughed heartily with Yiannis Niaros presenting the Iris Awards, but also received the statuette in the Best Male Role category. As the lead actor walked off the stage with the award in hand, the evening’s presenter, Yiannis Nearos, clearly excited, asked Dafoe for his autograph. He burst into laughter, and himself tried to “avoid” his “crazy fan”, raising his leg and kicking the air.
The scene made the audience laugh, but after the hug and autograph, Yannis Niaros shouted with joy: “Oh, you, ma@@!”, trying to realize what had happened.
