Its new products within the ThinkBook and ThinkCentre series, which target professional users and small and medium-sized companies, come with new functions based on artificial intelligence. More specifically, in laptops, we gave a presentation of the ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid, ThinkBook 13x Gen 4, ThinkBook 14i Gen 6+, and ThinkBook 16p Gen 5.
The ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid is a flexible 2-in-1 solution that can be used as a laptop and as a tablet offering a hybrid Windows or Android user experience. The monitor (14-inch, 2.8K) was disconnected and the system still functions normally, with the user having the option to connect it to an external monitor.
The ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 is Lenovo's first zero-carbon SMB laptop, the Intel Evo Edition, and includes up to 32GB of 8400MHz LPDDR5X RAM, Wi-Fi 6E, and four Harman speakers/ Kardon, Thunderbolt 4 and the Copilot button. It weighs about 1kg, is 12.9mm long and has a 74Wh battery – the largest in a 13-inch (or rather 13.5-inch with 3:2 aspect ratio and 97% screen-to-surface ratio) laptop with an impressive lifespan .
Lenovo even presented an interesting concept based on this laptop. The reason behind the ThinkBook 13x Gen 4 SPE, which, by combining system hardware, Lenovo algorithms and E Ink Prism technology, allows the user to “decorate” their cover with their favorite images (1,000+ images included) for a truly personalized look even without… Impact on autonomy!
The ThinkBook 14i Gen 6+ comes with a display option of up to 3K at 14 inches (covering 90% of the front surface), an 85 WHr battery, up to 32GB of dual-channel LPDDR5X RAM, and a full connectivity profile (including Including a hidden USB Type-A designed specifically for USB dongles) and an infrared camera for added security, it includes the Lenovo LA3 AI chip and Lenovo Smart Power 3.0 technology, with support for the ThinkBook Graphics Extension module for additional AI processing power.
As for the ThinkBook 16p Gen 5, it is a very elegant device with nothing to envy in terms of performance over previous devices (it comes with up to a 14th generation Intel Core i9 processor with AI Assist and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060) and it even supports Magic Bay Studio with a camera. 4K and built-in speakers. We were impressed by the large touchpad, which provides a really comfortable user experience. The laptop also has a full set of I/O ports and LED indicators.
In desktops now, we had a presentation of the ThinkCentre neo Ultra, a 3.6 liter mini PC, up to an Intel Core i9 processor under the Intel vPro Enterprise platform, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics, up to 64 GB RAM DDR5 and Wi-Fi 7. We also took a closer look at the 24- and 27-inch ThinkCentre neo 50a Gen 5, an all-in-one system with Intel Core i7 options, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 100Hz refresh rate display with 99% sRGB coverage and certified by TUV Rheinland .
