To own this extremely rare 1962 Chevrolet Corvette, invest a fortune in it, keep it in perfect condition and it will lose value due to transportation.

In a video that has already gone viral, we see the rare first-generation muscle car drop from the second level of the pickup truck. Unfortunately, the car did not stay on the slope which would have descended slowly and brought the wheels into contact with the road surface. Instead, it flopped backwards, tumbling to the ground from a height of about two metres. As many have commented, since this is a trainer it should have some sort of protection at the ends of the ramp to prevent exactly what happened.

It is not clear who was responsible for the accident, but the owner of the classic Corvette will certainly contact the shipper’s insurance company to request compensation for the damages. However, the whole incident highlighted the importance of properly loading and securing vehicles during transport.

There was also some discussion about the extent of the damage to the Corvette. Some commentators on the video speculated that the car took an irreparable blow to the bodywork and that the car’s suspension had certainly suffered major damage, apart from the obvious damage to the fenders.

There is nothing more painful than watching your car break down in front of your eyes. Especially when it comes to a classic Corvette that has probably gone through months of intense work.
